Miranda Lambert meets Elton John & Old dominion try curling

In Touch Weekly has an absurd rumor claiming Carrie Underwood and Mike Fisher are headed for divorce. Carrie’s been taking time to herself and her family since last fall and they say her absence from the spotlight spells divorce. That is just not true.

Miranda Lambert recently performed at that Elton John tribute that’ll air this spring on CBS. She sang an album cut, ‘My Father's Gun,’ from 1971’s ‘Tumbleweed Connection.’ After the show taped, Miranda got to hang out with Elton and his longtime collaborator Bernie Taupin. She calls them one of the greatest songwriting teams of all time and says, “it's so cool and inspiring when you meet people that are nice, normal and iconic."

Old Dominion’s ‘Written In The Sand’ is #1 this week; the 4th time they’ve done that. They celebrated by getting into the Olympic Spirit to give curling a try. They tweeted, “now we’re waiting for our call from the Olympic team!”

Finally - Garth reveals his hobbies include eating and napping and one of his favorite things is quote, “breathing the same air Trisha’s breathing.”
