Daryle Singletary died suddenly yesterday & Dierks Bentley has a very special guitar

90s country star, Daryle Singletary died suddenly at his home in Lebanon, TN yesterday at 46. Report say he died from a blood clot or a stroke but nothing has been confirmed. Easton Corbin tweeted, “one of the best voices in country but also a dear friend and a great person. He will be missed. Chris Young wrote, “so sad to hear about Daryle’s passing. I’ve always loved his voice and his music.”

Lindsay Ell has been added to Keith Urban’s Graffiti U World tour’s September performances in Canada, as well as for his debut performance in Rogers, Arkansas. Lindsay will open seven Canadian shows and the first is September 14 at the Canadian Tire Centre in Ottawa. Lindsay said, “I’m SO excited to be touring with Keith and can’t wait to play in the venues I grew up in!"

Blake Shelton’s restaurant, Ol Red just got a new review, “the bison burger’s bun disintegrated and its red pepper and cheese made the interior so slippery upon taking my first bite the meat shot out of my mouth like a cannon. Plus the big piece of ice cold chicken on a stick in the Bloody Mary was just weird.” Blake has 20% off at olered.com thru tomorrow. His candle scents include log cabin backwoods and cornbread. Blake also sells a red fly swatter in the shape of a guitar.

Finally - Dierks Bentley says touring can be a battle to have energy when he walks on stage at 9:30 PM so he’s doing extra workouts now. He also brings several guitars on the road like his Martin where his pinkie wore a hole thru the top so it looks kinda like Willie Nelson’s guitar Trigger. A few years ago Dierks got Willie to sign his name right next to the pinkie hole.
