The CMA Country Christmas special airs tonight on ABC. Hosted by Jennifer Nettles, performers include Brett Eldredge, Brad Paisley, Kelsea Ballerini, Rascal Flatts, Trisha Yearwood and Chris Young

Long before his record deal, Dierks Bentley got hired at a new club in Nashville as their 1st ever performer but the legendary Tootsies was next door and their band played so loud, everyone went there, so they fired Dierks on his first night because he played too quiet.

So Thomas Rhett doesn’t get homesick on the road he brings his wife, their two dogs and little things like candles to make the bus look like home.

After a big year of touring, Kenny Chesney’s been catching up on TV shows he missed and says, “you look forward to getting off the road, then all of a sudden the energy of thousands of people coming right at you every night goes silent. That’s always a tough transition.”

Finally - Old Dominion happened by accident in 2003 when the guys formed a friendship thru song writing. They only started playing together to make some extra bucks.
