Luke Bryan’s Farm Tour was supposed to kick off tonight in Gaston, S.C. but evacuation orders due to Hurricane Matthew have cancelled it. The storm’s also cancelled a festival in Vero Beach, FL Jake Owen was supposed to have played and Garth’s had to reschedule a show as well.

Tim McGraw and Faith Hill’s Soul 2 Soul tour will cover 65 cities in the US and Canada and kick off April 7 in New Orleans. Tickets go on pre-sale Friday and general sale October 14. We don’t yet know if there will be any opening acts. I also hear The Voice will have Tim and Faith as key advisers this season and they’re on October 24 to prepare artists for the knockout rounds. Tonight the McGraw’s are inducted into the Music City Walk of Fame in Nashville; tomorrow they celebrate their 20th wedding anniversary.

Shania Twain’s the first female ‘Artist of a Lifetime’ at this year’s CMT Artists of the Year October 20. It honors stars who’ve dominated country radio, ruled the charts and sold out arenas. Previous recipients are Kenny Rogers and Merle Haggard

Finally - Justin Moore’s favorite place to write is at his beach house in Florida. He says, “I like to create in places where there’s less going on and a lot less to worry about.”
