The NFL’s released Carrie Underwood’s new Sunday Night Football open a bit early. It’s set to she and Miranda Lambert’s tune, ‘Somethin’ Bad.’ I also hear Miranda will get the 1st ever Merle Haggard Spirit Award at tonight’s ACM Honors at the Ryman. The 2-hour special airs Sept. 9 on CBS.

Luke Bryan’s been added to play Charlie Daniels’ 80th Birthday Jam November 30 at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena. Tickets are $25 and they’re on sale now through Ticketmaster.

Keith Urban ended his summer tour the other night by treating tour mates Maren Morris, Brett Eldredge and the entire crew to a huge blow-up double waterslide backstage.

Dan + Shay's hit, ‘From the Ground Up’ has become a very popular wedding song and it was inspired by Dan’s grandparents who were married over 65 years. He says their Facebook message box is 90% full of people asking if they’d sing it at their wedding.

Finally - tonight Granger Smith’s alter ego, Earl Dibbles, Jr. returns to predict the future for the CBS Sports Network. His Dip ‘Em & Pick ‘Em weekly segment is on Inside College Football.
