LBT & Chris Stapleton Take Home Grammy's + Granger Smith Has First #1

Only two county acts took home Grammy’s last night, Little Big Town for Country Duo or Group and Country Song for ‘Girl Crush.’ Chris Stapleton got the Country Solo Performance and Best Country Album for ‘Traveler.’ When he came up for his acceptance speech, he had sparkles all over his jacket; Chris said he’d been glitter-bombed by Taylor Swift.

Sam Hunt hits the road this summer with Kenny Chesney and when he was recently at a small Italian restaurant in Santa Monica, CA, he saw a guy there that looked a lot like Kenny. But it was so dark he wasn’t sure. Well it was Kenny and he and Sam talked about the upcoming tour.

If there was a movie made about his life, Thomas Rhett would want Ryan Gosling to play him because he’s a huge fan of his movies like ‘The Notebook.’ Thomas is a big chick flick guy and he’s seen every Nicholas Sparks movie several times and he’s not afraid to say it.

Finally - Granger Smith’s ‘Backroad Song’ is now his first #1. He also takes a bow and arrow on the road and says, “even if I shoot it in a parking lot, it just helps clear my mind.”
