Bio

I was born in Watertown, South Dakota but spent much of my life in Seattle. I have 3 siblings with my brother being only 11 months older than me. I am nearly 5'10" and I was a bit insecure growing up because of that. Being a tall girl isn't always easy, especially when all you want is to just blend in.

 
Two of my passions are people and music so after many years selling clothes for Nordstrom, I got into radio and produced a morning show in Seattle for long time country radio icon Ichabod Caine. He taught me the fine art of writing comedy & how to interview people and that has served me well. I love what I do and God has blessed me more than I ever imagined with the best job on the planet! 

 
I was married in August of 2007.  

My husband and I met on a Christian dating site, christianmingle.com. I was skeptical about the whole Internet thing but a few friends encouraged me so I decided to try it. I met the man of my dreams in a way that I had not expected at all. If you too are waiting and waiting like I was and losing hope, don't! God HAS a plan and  if marriage is the desire in your heart, then He intends to fulfill that.

 
Animals are also a passion for me. 

We have two dogs, 'Pal,' a 2-year old, 17 pound Cocker Spaniel/Jack Russel/Bichon Frise shelter rescue that is joyful and happy all the time. She makes us laugh and adds to the happy home we already have. 

'Cowboy' is another shelter rescue. We also had his DNA tested and turns out he's a Cocker/Shih Tzi/Rottweiler mix whoa t 10 months old is already nearly 60 pounds.

 
I love the simple things...spending time with my husband, a good meal, a cozy home, walking our dogs, fires in our fire pit, a good movie, reading and soaking in our hot tub!
