Monday - March 15:
Carrie Underwood’s in Country Weekly – she’s hired a wedding planner so she won’t get stressed. She
says that day she won’t be Carrie the entertainer, she'll just be Carrie marrying Mike.’ They’ll live in both
Nashville and Ottawa so Mike can play hockey. Carrie says she’s ok with that as she grew up a loner &
being alone’s not a problem for her.
Charles, Dave and Hilary from Lady Antebellum say in their early days, the band was so broke, when
they traveled to radio stations, they all shared one room at Motel 6.
Whenever Tim & Faith are in Washington DC, they eat at Blue Duck Tavern & just some of the fare
includes roasted bone marrow with a sea urchin crust, they also have whole pheasant for 2 – cooked in
a salt dough & for a side dish, how bout’ some yummy warm swiss chard and raisin pie.
New guy Chris Young is single & looking for a girl. All she needs to have is 5 things – she has to be
funny, like to stay up late & she has to be into music, McDonald's & movies.
Jamey Johnson will release 2 albums this year – one he calls a 'white album', with upbeat songs & a
'black album', out after that with more somber tunes.
Finally - Kellie Pickler tweets ‘woke up this morning with a diamond in my nose & a heart on my foot.”
Friday - March 5:
Is it just me or does John Rich’s house look like an office that was built from Lego’s? Neighbors says it
doesn’t fit in & as for the bright lights John has aimed at them…turns out he’s violating city code & he
has 30 days to fix it. My friend Lisa says from the road, she could see the disco saddle light he has in his
home bar. On his gate that was vandalized he now has a sign that says, "keep out, this property’s
protected by the second amendment." That by-the-way is John’s legal right to keep and bear arms.
Carrie Underwood’s tour opened last night & at one point she sang John Denver's "Take Me Home,
Country Roads" in the bed of a pickup, suspended on wires over the crowd.
In her family, Reba’s famous for making baked beans at any get-together and I now have the secret
recipe, given to me by her sister Alice. It’s in the recipes section at my web site.
Trisha Yearwood wants to get 10,000 fans on facebook by April 6th,when her new cookbook’s out.
Finally - today’s the grand opening of Dolly Parton’s store, Trinkets & Treasures in downtown Nashville.

Carrie Underwood’s big tour kicks off tonight in Reading, Pa. We’ll finally get to see what she spent half
a million dollars on getting the tour ready.
As for Taylor Swift’s love life, she tells Elle magazine there are 2 levels, “a letdown’s worth a few songs
but a heartbreak’s worth a few albums.”
Miranda Lambert thinks Blake Shelton being 7 years older isn’t a problem & says, “guys are always a
little more immature, so I think we’re about even.”
Miranda also reveals a few of her beauty essentials - Love Spell body spray from Victoria’s Secret,
Michael Kors perfume & the girdle like thing called Spanx. She says that’s every girl’s secret, but most
don’t talk about it .
Rascal Flatts Jay DeMarcus has a beef to pick with the History Channel. He says, “why did they change
its name to just History? It's not the same anymore & they took away their weekend Nazi-themed
programming.”
Gretchen Wilson says the last thing she bought was an Otis Redding song on iTunes.
Finally - Kellie Pickler spent the other day watching infomercials, eating sushi & playing bongos.
This video is from Canadian country singer Johnny Reid. He's from Scotland and this song
will BLOW YOU AWAY! The guy is amazing! I am going to try and get some of his CD's to give
away on the show. His Live CD just went triple platinum in Canada.
Wednesday - March 10:
Joe Don Rooney from Rascal Flatts wife Tiffany is having a baby in September. She told him she was
pregnant while they were at the same Los Angeles hotel where she told him she was pregnant with their
son Jagger. Joe Don said, “we're going to have to stop going there or we'll have 16 of these things
before long.'
Big Kenny makes his acting debut in a movie called The Frontier Boys. It’s about a high school
basketball team that loses it’s biggest star to a drive-by shooting. The movie’s the first in a series & you
can watch the trailer at frontierboys.com. They do need a few more investors tho to get it to the big
screen.
Carrie Underwood is 27 today.
Lady Antebellum tweets…’Flight to NYC: $400, lunch at Carnegie Deli: $25, meeting the creator of
Jersey Shore: priceless.’ That’s a reality show that follows 8 room mates in New Jersey.
If you wanna run into Charles from Lady A next time you’re in Nashville, he likes to eat at South Street
but he also likes the Sunday brunch at Tin Angel cuz it’s walking distance from his home.
Finally - Sara Evans says, “I think one of the toughest decisions you'll ever make in life is- what do I
wear on a long flight.”
Tuesday - March 9:
For the last 2 weeks, Carrie Underwood’s been in a secret location in Mobile, Alabama working on her
upcoming tour – I heard she’s hired a Hollywood producer & spent over half a million dollars getting
everything ready & it kicks off Thursday in Reading, Pa. A reporter who visited last week wasn't allowed
to see anything going on inside.
Gary Allan’s album, ‘Get Off On The Pain’s’ out today & he’s on Jimmy Kimmel Live tonight.
Miranda Lambert has a farm full of animals & she just added her first turkey. Miranda also recently got
an odd gift in the mail – a fan sent her a box of 24 chickens.
Sara Evans says her sister has a theory– when you get old you start ordering catfish when you go out to
dinner.
John Rich tweeted ’anybody know who vandalized my gate? I'll give ya a grand if you turn em in.’
Seems one country star owes the government quite a chunk in taxes.. .Dwight Yoakam owes $457,873
in taxes. I hear the IRS even filed a lien against Dwight in Los Angeles County in January.
Finally - Lee Ann Womack tweets, ‘just caught my brand new electric blanket on fire…again.’
