Garth’s concert postponed & Jake Owen's copyright infringement lawsuit

Garth’s concert Saturday in Nashville had to be postponed. It started with an Opry show featuring Chris Young and Emmy Lou Harris. Moments after tho, fans were asked to evacuate as a severe thunderstorm moved through downtown with 60 mph winds and lightening. Two hours later the call was made to postpone Garth’s concert.

Jake Owen's in the middle of a copyright infringement lawsuit. Two songwriters say Jake’s #1 tune ‘Made for You’ includes significant portions of structure and lyrics from their 2014 song of the same name. Jake was not a songwriter on his version and he’s also not commented publicly.

An anonymous male country star ordered take out from the Waffle House in Greensboro, NC. He saw a waitress taking care of her baby girl while working so he tipped her $50. Right after that, his tour manager returned and gave her $1,000, two concert tickets and also got her address to send baby clothes and baby items.

Finally - Brett Young’s wife had their daughter Rowan Marie Young July 21.
