Miranda Lambert leads the CMA nominees & blake shelton makes a teachers day

Miranda Lambert leads the CMA nominees with seven. Luke Combs has six and Maren Morris five. For the first time in four decades, two females are in Entertainer of the Year, Miranda and Carrie. The last time was Crystal Gayle and Barbara Mandrell in 1979. In 1974 it was Loretta Lynn and Olivia Newton-John. The last time a woman won Entertainer was Taylor Swift in 2011. The CMA snubs include Kane Brown, Jason Aldean, Luke Bryan, Blake Shelton and Kenny Chesney. Kelsea Ballerini was also snubbed and wrote, “something beautiful will undoubtedly come from the current disappointment.”

Blake Shelton made someone’s day yesterday. A 1st grade teacher from Texas tweeted him asking for help and Blake answered, ‘I’ll take care of it” and he bought all of the items on her Amazon wish list. She teaches at a low-income school in Texas where students don’t have a lot of opportunities and now they will thanks to Blake!

Finally – Brantley Gilbert’s man cave’s called "The Dog House.’ It’s almost 7,000 sq ft and it stores his tour bus, cars, motorcycles and an upstairs sleeping quarters. Brantley jokes that everyone loves it except his wife.
