John Prine died from Covid-19 yesterday & Kenny Rogers: A Benefit For MusiCares airs tonight

73-year-old legendary singer/songwriter John Prine died from Covid-19 yesterday. Miranda Lambert called him ‘the one and only.” Chris Janson wrote “most every country singer has sang lyrics written by John at one time or another.” George Strait, Miranda Lambert and Johnny Cash all sang tunes John wrote.

Kimberly Paisley posted a video of Day 26 at their home showing us they have everything they need. Kim also revealed the reason for her new found peace; a bound and gagged Brad Paisley on the floor by the fridge, not able to say a word.

To follow guidelines and keep everyone safe, Luke Bryan’s pushing back the release of his album, ‘Born Here Live Here Die Here’ to August 7. His tour will hopefully start July 10.

Kenny Rogers: A Benefit For MusiCares airs tonight on CMT with Rascal Flatts, Jennifer Nettles, Randy Houser & more. Sam Hunt’s on Late Night with Stephen Colbert.

Finally - Scotty McCreery’s doing two Facebook Lives & one Instagram show this afternoon.
