Dierks Bentley dodges the storm & tornado misses maren morris by an inch

As tornadoes were about to start in Nashville Monday, Dierks Bentley was flying his plane home and landed at the airport around 11:30 PM. He tweeted, “glad we landed when we did. Wouldn’t have been good an hour later.” Shots of the area around the airport showed the space virtually destroyed by the storm.

At 2 AM Monday Carrie Underwood was out of town so her husband Mike took their two young sons into the safe room in their house. Maren Morris said the tornado missed their block by an inch but the neighborhood nearby was hit hard.

Chris Young donated $50,000 to the Middle Tennessee Emergency Response at cfmt.org. Chris Janson is also urging us to give what we can.

Finally - yesterday Bridgestone Arena opened their doors to give people a safe, calm place to have lunch. Nashville mayor John Cooper tweeted, “we will get through this and come out stronger.”
