some big CMA snubs & tim mcgraw's new single is an old pop hit

The CMA nominations are out and Maren Morris leads with six. A few snubs include Luke Bryan who for the first time since 2012 wasn’t nominated for Entertainer. Kane Brown who’s so hot right now was also ignored, as was Jason Aldean. In 2014, Jason was snubbed by the CMA’s so his dad wrote on Facebook, “we have an artist who’s the most downloaded country star of all time, consistently sells out stadiums, has broken attendance records set by Chesney and Strait. He’s deserving and the CMA’s are a joke and a farce.”

Tim McGraw will release his version of The Cars 1984 pop hit, ‘Drive’ today.

Jon Pardi lives on 15 acres in rural Tennessee. He says his life there consists of dogs, working out, boats, tractors, mowing and what he calls a cheap pool. On tour, I hear Jon’s fridge is stocked with salsa, eggs, string cheese, broccoli, asparagus, pickles and cauliflower pizza. He’s also a huge fan of grilled elk meat, which he hunts himself in Montana. Jon grew up on a farm in California and says he likes to live wild game-to-table if he can.

Finally - tomorrow Kane Brown performs on Good Morning America.
