\Carrie Underwood has a new SNF partner & even bacon can't wake new dad Tyler Hubbard

NBC’s Sunday Night Football will have a new tune opener this season as Joan Jett joins Carrie Underwood for the opener. They’ll perform an updated rendition of 2006’s ‘Waiting All Day for Sunday Night’ the one based on Joan’s hit ‘I Hate Myself For Loving You.’ Last year Carrie and NBC were sued over the song they used last season. A sneak preview of new open will air Sunday during halftime of the Titans/Steelers game. The full version will debut September 8.

Tyler Hubbard’s wife had their son Luca on Monday. Yesterday Hayley needed help with the baby so she tried for 20 minutes to wake Tyler by putting a crispy piece of bacon under his nose. She finally gave up after her third and final attempt.

With ‘God's Country’ going #1, Blake Shelton will probably do an album one day but for now he loves being able to record a song and get it right out.

Finally - Garth Brooks and Ashley McBryde talk about songwriting tonight in Nashville at Belmont University. It’s free but people had to register for tickets.
