Carrie Underwood gets sued & Shania guests on Strahan and Sara

Carrie Underwood, her produce, NBC and the NFL are being sued for copyright infringement. Singer Heidi Merrill claims their version of the Sunday Night Football theme was stolen from her song. She had submitted that tune to Carrie’s producer Mark Bright hoping they’d use it for the 2018 NFL season.

Luke Bryan and family are fostering a dog that needs a home. Kimmie’s a big dog and she was found in an enclosure so small she couldn’t even lay down. If you want to adopt her, head to proverbs1210rescue.org.

Luke Combs tweeted yesterday, “I hate golf. I quit golf. I can’t wait to play tomorrow.”

Brantley Gilbert recently kicked off his tour with Michael Ray and Lindsay Ell. He says the weirdest thing to see on the road are fans who get his face tattooed on their arm or somewhere else on their body. He’s OK with his song lyrics and signature getting tattooed but not his face.

Finally - Shania guests on the daytime talk show Strahan and Sara today.
