the ACM Awards will honor classic country music & CMT Crossroads pairs Brett Young and Boyz II Men tonight

Next month’s ACM Awards will honor classic country music hits and the artists who made them so Brooks & Dunn will perform with Luke Combs. 24-time ACM winner George Strait will sing with Miranda Lambert. Miranda’s the most-awarded artist in ACM history with 32 and she’ll also perform a medley of her greatest hits. Other ACM collaborations include Kane Brown and pop star Khalid, Jason Aldean & Kelly Clarkson, Dierks Bentley with Brandi Carlile plus Eric Church & Ashley McBryde.

Tonight CMT Crossroads pairs Brett Young and Boyz II Men where they’ll take turns collaborating on each other’s biggest hits. When he started singing, Brett says Boyz II Men pushed him as a singer. They’re the reason he learned to sing so high. Brett’s voice could easily have gotten him in the band but he’s way too tall.

Finally - Jake Owen says when he started in country music he was willing to do whatever it took to succeed but it ended up being at the expense of he and his family’s happiness. Now Jake says, “I’m at a place in life where family is way more important than the business side of things.” His daughter Paris should be born sometime next week.
