Dierks Bentley will executive produce an upcoming comedy & Cole Swindell’s seen some crazy things backstage

Dierks Bentley and his manager will executive produce an upcoming comedy for FOX. It’s set in a Nashville bar where singers and songwriters go to chase their dreams. The yet untitled series has a pilot commitment and it was created by the guy who does Last Man Standing and Modern Family.

Luke Combs once had a gig in Georgia when his van got a flat tire and they couldn’t do anything about it till morning. Every hotel room in town was booked so their tour manager’s brother found them an unused cabin. The beds had plastic on the mattresses and no pillow or sheets.

Cole Swindell’s seen some crazy things backstage in the autograph line. One time he signed a fans dinner of cold chicken fingers but Cole says the chicken ruined his Sharpie.

Miranda Lambert duets with Dolly Parton on a new version of her first hit from 1966, ‘Dumb Blonde.’ It’ll be on the soundtrack of Dolly’s new Netflix film, ‘Dumplin’ that debuts Nov. 30.

Finally - Thomas Rhett and Keith Urban have their last night on The Voice tonight.
