Carrie Underwood gets a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame & Kelsea Ballerini will be a coach on The Voice

Carrie Underwood will receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame September 20 in front of Capitol Records. A celebrity has to submit a letter of agreement to confirm that they approve of their nomination or it’s rejected. Whoever does the nominating pays $40,000 to install and maintain the star, that’s why most acts like Carrie nominate themselves. Speakers at her ceremony will be Brad Paisley and Simon Cowell and we can watch it live at walkoffame.com.

Thomas Rhett and his wife recently returned from Italy. They were there for his manager’s wedding and it was also a getaway from the kids too. They went on a moped sightseeing tour that included George Clooney’s Lake Como mansion.

Kelsea Ballerini has just been added to The Voice. She’ll be a Comeback Stage Coach for six artists who performed during the blind auditions, but didn’t make it onto a team. Two of them will be on the live playoffs results show November 13. The twist is The Comeback Stage will not technically be on the show but stream on YouTube, The Voice App, Instagram TV, Facebook and NBC.com. The Voice debuts September 24.  Keith Urban and Thomas Rhett will be team advisers for Blake Shelton and Kelly Clarkson.

Finally - Luke Bryan is starting his own record label; 32 Bridge Entertainment and he already has his first artist; up-and-comer Jon Langston. He’ll hit the road with Luke on his 2018 Farm Tour this year.
