Carrie Underwood got turned down by hockey’s Golden Knights & Brother’s Osborne are hopping mad

Carrie Underwood got turned down by hockey’s Golden Knights. She offered to sing the National Anthem before a game and they said, “we’re very flattered but don’t plan on making any changes to our previously scheduled lineup of musicians.” Carrie’s in California now, taking time off with her husband in Napa Valley. She says it’s her happy place due to the” amazing wine, beautiful scenery, wonderful friends and yummy dinners.”

When the CMA Fest happens in Nashville, artists are being asked to pay in order to play around town. Brother’s Osborne tweeted, “this is appalling and the antithesis of Nashville. To any bar owner doing this, shame on you. To the musicians; refuse to pay & play. You hold the power.”

Florida Georgia Line will have another bar and music venue, but this one will be on the water in Florida. They’re calling it ‘FGL Boat House’ but no word yet when it will be open.

Chase Rice is recovering from surgery to repair a torn pectoral muscle he got during a music video shoot. Even tho his arm’s in a sling he’ll still play shows this weekend.

Finally – Scotty McCreery guests on Harry Connick Jr.'s syndicated talk show today.
