carrie underwood updates fans & Kenny chesney on how he reaches nosebleed fans

Carrie Underwood says physically her wrist is 90% back to normal. Her face has been healing too and she feels more like herself than she has in a while and adds the down time has been good and she calls it “forced relaxation.” Carrie’s also been in the studio writing and singing a ton and says she’s creative in a way she’s never been before. she co-wrote the first single out today ‘Cry Pretty’ and she’s also talking about a tour but won’t give any details yet.

Kenny Chesney says to make fans in the nosebleed section feel part of his stadium show, he takes a golf cart to the very top and goes up there and sits. Kenny says it’s a time for him to mentally and emotionally measure how far he has to go to reach people sitting there. Kenny also says he has a God-given computer to chip to be able to communicate with fans that far away.

When he was born, Jake Owen’s name was Josh then he changed it to J.R because there were already a few country singers named Josh. Then he dropped J.R. for Jake because that was his grandfather’s nickname. He says he’s kinda glad that in all his years as a country singer, there hasn’t been another Jake.

Finally – Reba will host the ACMs Sunday so she’s on The Talk today to chat about it.
