Under her GoFundMe name Carrie Fisher, Carrie Underwood made a $10,000 donation to the assistant police chief in her hometown of Checotah, Oklahoma. Officer Durett was also Carrie’s childhood friend and on his way to work, he slid off the road, rolled his truck and was ejected with the truck landing on him. He broke his neck and is now paralyzed.

Before music, Chris Stapleton worked at Papa John’s pizza and he’s kept his employee badge to remember his humble start. He also studied engineering at Vanderbilt but dropped out after a year and if he would have followed family tradition, today Chris would be a Kentucky coal miner.

Finally – Miranda Lambert says besides music, animals are her passion because they give you unconditional love.
