blake shelton took to Twitter to squash rumors and Brett Eldredge is afraid to cry at chick flicks

Blake Shelton spoke to a Massachusetts high school grieving the loss of three students killed in a recent car crash. Someone at the school who had ties to Blake’s family reached out to him and he sent a recorded message saying, “I know how it feels. I lost my brother in a car accident. It’s an overall brokenness that’s just gonna take a lot of time to heal.”

Speaking of Blake, he took to Twitter yesterday to squash rumors about a secret meeting he and House Speaker Paul Ryan supposedly had. A few days ago they both ended up in Oklahoma at his restaurant in Tishomingo, Ole’ Red. Blake was there with Gwen Stefani and her 3 boys. After getting several mean tweets he wrote, “I walked into my restaurant and bumped into a politician I’ve never met before, said hello and took a picture. Then we left because it was too cold for the outdoor area we’d reserved.”

Chris Stapleton’s album, ‘From A Room: Volume 2, is out today with nine songs, mostly co-written by him. Chris once heard an interview with Billy Gibbons from ZZ Top who said he always just tried to make music he’d want to listen to, so Chris says that’s what he does too. You can see Chris on NBC’s Sunday Today With Willie Geist this weekend.

Finally - Brett Eldredge reveals he’s a mushy guy who’s not afraid to cry at chick flicks.
