Jason Aldean cancels shows and Luke Bryan got Idol negotiating advice from Blake Shelton

As a result of what happened in Las Vegas, Jason Aldean canceled this weekend's shows in California out of respect for the victims, their families and his fans. Jason writes, “thank you for the outpouring of love we’ve received the last couple days. You guys have no idea how much you’ve helped get us through this tough time.” Jason says when he’s back on stage October 12 in Tulsa, OK, it’ll be very emotional for he and his band.

We know Luke Bryan will be a judge on American Idol next year and I guess he consulted good friend Blake Shelton who gave him advice about negotiating his fee. Blake says, “they probably had to pay up to get Luke on the show.” Speaking of Luke, he says he knows he’s finally made it in show biz because yesterday he was a clue on the TV show Jeopardy. Contestants were asked what state gave us Luke Bryan and R.E.M. It was Georgia.

Finally - Thomas Rhett asked Kenny Chesney how to become a stadium-headliner and Kenny said, ‘be authentic. People just wanna know that they could sit down and have a drink with you.”
