Luke Bryan's idol rumors get a confirmation and miranda lambert's place to unwind

After yesterday’s rumors that Luke Bryan may be a judge for American Idol, The Hollywood Reporter is now confirming ABC’s short list of people to be judges are Luke, Lionel Richie and pop star Charlie Puth.

When she’s off the road, Miranda Lambert unwinds on her 400-acre farm an hour from Nashville. She writes songs there and rides horses and says, “I don’t wear makeup for a week or wash my hair. I put it in a bandanna and play with my dogs.” Miranda listens to a lot of music there too and the last record she bought was Bob Seger’s Greatest Hits she got in an unlikely place; grocery shopping at Nashville’s Whole Foods.

Thomas Rhett’s new album, ‘Life Changes’ is out September 8 with 14 songs; 10 he co-wrote including one with his dad, Rhett Akins, who sings on the tune as well.

Keith Urban‏ tweeted, “it's official.... we are ALL obsessed with The Gong Show!!!!!!!”

Finally - Chris Stapleton wrote a song on Joe Nichols new album, ‘Never Gets Old’ that’s out today. It has 12 tunes Joe says is a throwback to what he does best; traditional country.
