Miranda Lambert makes acm history and sam hunt embarrasses his fiance on national tv

At last night’s ACM Award’s, Jason Aldean was Entertainer of the Year; his 2nd in a row. Miranda Lambert made history taking home Female Vocalist for the eighth consecutive time; she also got Album of the Year for ‘The Weight of These Wings.’ '

A couple highlights were Luke Bryan, Dierks Bentley and Joe Walsh on guitar paying tribute to Chuck Berry with ‘Johnny B. Good.’ When Sam Hunt performed, he went into the audience and embarrassed his fiancé Hannah when he sat next to her and sang. She covered her face laughing then playfully pushed him away as he went to kiss her.

Miranda Lambert had an emotional acoustic performance of ‘Tin Man’ but my favorite of the night was Florida Georgia Line singing with the Backstreet Boys.

Song of the Year went to Thomas Rhett’s ‘Die a Happy Man,’ he also got Male Vocalist. Single was Florida Georgia Line’s ‘H.O.L.Y.’ Vocal Duo winners were Brothers Osborne and the Vocal Group of the Year; Little Big Town.

Jake Owen just shot the video for ‘Good Company’ in the Bahamas. Jake said it’s probably the most fun he’s ever had making a video because he was at the beach. He says that’s the place he feels most comfortable.

Finally - today Brett Young sings the national anthem at the Dodgers opening day on ESPN.
