Carrie Underwood suprises an NHL crowd and Dierks Bentleys wife finishes marathon
Carrie Underwood was the surprise National Anthem singer at last night’s Nashville Predators game. Her husband Mike Fisher’s the team captain and Carrie wore his #12 jersey to sing. She said the crowd was insane last night as the Preds won in overtime over the Blackhawks and now have a 3-0 lead in the Western Conference quarterfinals.
Dierks Bentley’s wife Cassidy finished the Boston Marathon yesterday in just under 3 ½ hours. She also raised over $23,000 for Safe Haven Family Shelter of Nashville.
Kimberly from Little Big Town debuts her Love & Daisies Kitchen Collection today on HSN. Kimberly still has the first set of dishes she got as a little girl from her dad and says, “I meet no stranger when it comes to a pretty dish.”
Jon Pardi says a #1 song is what you work for but it’s not always easy. He adds, “sometimes you feel like you’re on the sidelines and sometimes you get a touchdown.”
Finally - as for how she deals with social media negativity, Hillary from Lady A says, “some days it stings more than others, but there are always more positive comments.”
