Grammy winners are...and Luke & Dierks are back
The Grammy’s were last night and the Best Country Song was Tim McGraw’s ‘Humble and Kind’ going to songwriter Lori McKenna. The Best Country Album was someone we've hardly heard of; Sturgill Simpson, ‘A Sailor’s Guide to Earth.’ Best Country Solo Performance, ‘My Church’ by Maren Morris & the Best Country Duo was Dolly Parton and Pentatonix on 'Jolene.'
Trisha Yearwood danced through the entire Prince tribute last night and said she was unaware her husband Garth was watching her.
Luke Bryan and Dierks Bentley will return to host the ACM Awards April 2.
Brett Eldredge was invited on Twitter to go a prom for the Nashville chapter of Best Buddies. They help people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Brett made it to their prom Friday night at Bridgestone Arena and said, “they showed me the true meaning of love and life and to appreciate all of its beauty.”
Finally - no surprise that Tim McGraw’s tough on any boy who dates his daughters. For one winter formal, some kids drove up to their house in a limo and Tim was waiting on the porch with a sledgehammer over his shoulder.
