Marem Morris twists ankle and Kenny Chesney does not get the girl
Tim McGraw and Faith Hill’s Soul2Soul tour kicks off April 7 with a different opening act each weekend. They chose people whose music they like and that mean something to them and their openers include Brothers Osborne, Jon Pardi, High Valley, Eric Paslay, Cam, Chris Janson and Lo Cash. The tour will also continue into 2018.
Maren Morris shares something with Luke Bryan; they’re both clumsy and yesterday before a show she twisted her ankle on stairs and had to perform barefoot last night. I also hear Maren will sing at the Grammy’s February 12 with Alicia Keys.
The first song Kenny Chesney ever wrote was also an attempt to get a girl but it failed miserably. Kenny says it was his first taste of musical rejection.
As for what music she listens to working out, Carrie Underwood likes rock or anything new. She says, “there are some days I just don’t want to exercise but afterwards, I feel so much better.”
Finally - Zac Brown Band’s new album, ‘Welcome Home’ will be in stores May 12.
