Luke Bryan will sing the national anthem at the Superbowl February 5 in Houston. He says it’s a challenging and nerve-wracking song to sing, especially on a stage that big but he calls it the “chance of a lifetime.” I also hear Luke’s the first man to perform it at the Superbowl in 10 years. The last guy was Billy Joel in 2007.

Speaking of Luke, he played for 3-hours at his Crash My Playa event this weekend in Mexico. Blake Shelton was also there and during his set he had surprise appearances from Little Big Town and Gwen Stefani.

As for Carrie Underwood’s dog Ace, she writes, “physical therapy’s really helping. He gets a little better every day! I even have to stop him from trying to play with his sister. Thanks for all the concern and well wishes!”

Garth just debuted his new full beard on Facebook and it looks like he’ll be keeping it as he says the queen, Miss Yearwood likes it. She wrote, “Love this man. #keepthebeard."

Finally - Chris Lane performs on ABC’s, The Bachelor tonight. Tomorrow newcomer Michael Ray’s on the Today show’s 4th hour. He said, “now my grandmother thinks I finally made it!”
