Kelsea Ballerini was driving in Nashville yesterday during rush hour when her car caught on fire in a major intersection. She tweeted the news herself, so everything must have turned out OK.
Chris Janson’s debut album, ‘Buy Me A Boat,’ is out today with 11-tunes and a duet with Tim McGraw.
Speaking of Tim, he and his daughter Maggie met Prince Harry in Washington D.C. this week as he was visiting from England to promote the Paralympic Games in Florida next year.

Tonight in New York City Brett Eldredge & Thomas Rhett kick off their Boots & Suits tour with opener Danielle Bradbery. The tour name comes from something Thomas and his band do; they wear suits on Saturday. I also hear the guys will flip a coin to see who goes first each night. Thomas says, “Brett’s the goofiest dude I've ever met and his energy level’s nonstop from the time he gets up till he goes to bed.”
Carrie Underwood will headline Dick Clark's New Year’s Rockin' Eve December 31. Carrie also told Us Weekly a few little-known facts about her; she drives like a grandma, she’s an amazing whistler, she loves the smell of skunks and Carrie’s also a doomsday prepper.
The only advice Chris Young ever gives people that want to get into the music biz is learn to write songs then write as many as you can.

Carrie Underwood’s ‘Storyteller Tour’ kicks off January 30. It’s her first tour in the round and her openers are Easton Corbin and The Swon Brothers. Tickets go on sale November 6.
Luke Bryan still has three concerts left this year but he’s already in 2015’s top spot for ticket sales. Not counting merchandise sales, Luke’s tour has made $49 million so far this year.
Speaking of Luke, he’ll perform at AT&T Stadium during halftime at the Cowboys Thanksgiving Day game, kicking off The Salvation Army's annual Red Kettle Campaign.
Keith Urban has a title for his upcoming eighth album, ‘Ripcord’ but no word on a release date yet or if the title has anything to do with skydiving or not.
Carrie Underwood says she’s obsessed with the three activity trackers she wears on her wrist. They count her steps and more each day.

This past weekend in Florida, Jason Aldean was on his last song of the night with fireworks going off when his mic caught on fire. Jason wasn’t using it at the time and his band didn’t even know it had happened.
Speaking of Jason, selling out stadiums was something he never even dreamed about. He says, “I just wanted a record deal and make a living doing something I liked.”
Cole Swindell opened some stadium shows for Kenny Chesney this year so Kenny gave him a No Shoes Nation autographed football helmet. Cole has it hanging on a kitchen cabinet on his bus as a reminder of how far he's come.

Kenny Chesney went paddleboarding with pro surfer Laird Hamilton in Malibu, CA last week. It was Kenny’s first time on a paddleboard but he got the hang of it pretty quick.
Luke Bryan still feels like that little boy who grew up on a family farm in Georgia so it amazes him when 16-year-old girls jump out of a car and want to take a picture with him.

Blake Shelton has a new record in stores today, ‘Reloaded: 20 #1 Hits.'
Jake Owen says the album he’s recording now will be more about reality than fantasy. It should be out next spring and Jake says in 2016 he’ll have his first headlining tour to support it.

At next month’s CMA Awards, we already know the show will open with Eric Church & Hank Williams, Jr performing then I hear the spotlight will shift to Keith Urban and John Mellencamp singing, ‘John Cougar, John Deere, John 3:16.’
Jake Owen’s daughter Pearl is almost 3 and he says she’s made him more patient and appreciative of life. Jake says they like to build forts together and people watch at the park.
Brett Eldredge says the goal for his shows is to be like a conversation in his living room and also an escape from the outside world. Brett’s musical inspirations include Brooks & Dunn, Sinatra, Ray Charles and The Eagles.

Blake Shelton is suing In Touch Magazine for their story saying he was in rehab for alcoholism after his divorce. Blake seeks $2 million in damages plus an injunction to prevent them from repeating those allegations again.
The CMA Awards just added more performers; Jason Aldean, Sam Hunt, Blake Shelton & Luke Bryan.
Carrie Underwood says her friends are not supermodels or celebrities, just normal people like bakers and stay-at-home moms. Big groups make Carrie nervous because she says there’s a very good chance she’ll say the wrong thing. Today, Carrie’s on the cover of Shape magazine.
