Tim McGraw's Dating Rules + Miranda Lambert's Now a Trailer Collector

Downtown Nashville’s getting a new outdoor amphitheater and Eric Church will play the first concert there July 30. It’ll be an acoustic show and tickets go on sale today through Ticketmaster.

When it comes to his daughters dating, Tim McGraw has a few rules; they have to come to the house and meet him and have a little private talk outside. They have to meet Faith as well and Tim’s final rule is “no honking.”

Miranda Lambert recently got a vintage Shasta trailer to add to her collection of 3 vintage Airstreams. She says becoming a trailer collector happened by accident but they all have a purpose; 2 are rolling bars and 2 are for camping. Due to being in a tour bus so much of the time Miranda there’s nothing more freeing than hitching up a trailer by herself & heading off to camp.

Finally - Florida Georgia Line just opened their own publishing company, Tree Vibez Music.  The name was inspired by Brian’s tree house recording studio and the guys say they’ll be signing songwriters and music creators from all genres.  I’m so glad they’re ‘branching out!’

Little Big Town Records a Christmas Album + Shania Helps the Endangered Leopard and You Can Too

In May, Little Big Town’s taking a break from touring to record a Christmas album of classics and new stuff. Even tho guitar player Phillip Sweet has a fractured right hand and he’s not supposed to play his guitar, he still does. He just wears his brace when he gets off-stage.

Last weekend in Dothan, Alabama, Randy Houser played the Toadlick Music Festival even tho it had been cancelled due to bad weather. He’s the only act that would take the stage but it was an acoustic set only due to no power and high winds and rain. I hear several hundred fans stuck around for the show.

Billy Currington’s new album, ‘Summer Forever’ is out June 2 so he’s doing a live chat today on CMT’s Facebook page at 1pm ET/noon CT /10am PT. Speaking of Billy, he loves to spear fish and told me in Hawaii he’ll put on weights so he can go down 30 feet. When he was young, Billy learned how to hold his breath for over two minutes.

Finally - Shania’s teamed with Panthera, an organization that raises awareness for the endangered leopard that number less than 5,000 in the wild now. For more info, head to

Zac Brown Band and Tyler Farr Have New Albums Out + Rapper Nelly Goes Country

Zac Brown Bands, ‘Jekyll + Hyde’ is out today and they’re also on The Tonight Show. Tyler Farr’s ‘Suffer in Peace’ is in stores as well and it includes a duet with Jason Aldean. The deluxe package at tho has an autographed CD, a leather flask and a keychain-bottle opener made from a real bullet.

Tim McGraw’s on the Ellen Show then Jimmy Kimmel Live tonight. He will also perform at several fairs this year but won’t do any rides because when he and Faith were in Paris years ago Tim said, “I literally froze with fear on the Ferris wheel and I couldn’t move.”

I hear Tim’s good buddy, rapper Nelly is going country. The Texas native has no label right now and he’s in the studio recording a country-based EP. In 2013, remember he was on Florida Georgia Line’s remix of ‘Cruise.’

Finally - Lee Brice will perform his #1 hit, ‘Drinking Class’ tonight on The Voice. Lee’s a big fan of the show and watches all the time because he and Blake are good friends.
